Welcome to the RAAF Welfare Recreational Company website. The RAAF Welfare Recreational Company is Trustee of RAAF Central Welfare Trust Fund. The Company is a not for profit organisation and was incorporated in the early seventies.

Overall, the Aim of the Company is to provide access to discounted recreational accommodation and to manage and promote RWRC owned recreational facilities for RAAF members, their families and other eligible persons, and provide financial support to, and assist in the provision of, recreational facilities and services to RAAF members.

Eligibility to utilise the facilities is listed below:

• Serving airmen and airwomen in the Royal Australian Air Force, including reservists
• Serving members of the Navy and Army, including reservists,
• Australian Public Servants working in Defence, DHA, DEFCREDIT and Australian Defence Force Credit Union staff,
• Contractors working in Defence, and
• Ex Serving members of the Australian Defence Force

The Company has holiday facilities in various locations around Australia. In some locations the Company owns the facilities – the Ambassador Apartments on the Gold Coast and the Tuscany Apartments at Merimbula on the far South Coast of New South Wales. In the other location, Darwin, the Company leases an apartment at Marrakai. For the apartment at Marrakai there may be times when bookings are not available due to negotiations for renewal of lease or when lease will not to be renewed.
