Location

The Ambassador Apartments holiday units are situated on Chevron Island in the heart of Surfers Paradise.

Accomodation

Accommodation consists of :
  1. Five x 3 bedroom apartments comprising of one queen size bed and four single beds (maximum occupancy is 6)
  2. Six x 2 bedroom apartments comprising of one queen size and two single beds (maximum occupancy is 4).
  3. Facilities
Apartments are air-conditioned, fully self-contained and well appointed with excellent kitchen facilities. In addition a washing machine, clothes dryer and coloured television and DVD player are provided. All units have ensuites and walk-in robes to the master bedroom and built-in robes in the other bedrooms. The complex has a private outdoor recreation area with a swimming pool and BBQ facilities, as well as off-street secure underground parking. Everything essential is supplied in each apartment, excepting linen and towels, which can be hired locally through the manager at very reasonable rates. (Linen and towels will provided and will form part of the tariff after 1 Feb 12).



Tariffs and Seasons

A High/Low season tariff structure applies at Ambassador. (Three seasons: High, Mid, Low from 1 Feb 12).

Note: Occupancy is from 1400 hours day of arrival to 0900 hours day of departure.
Tariffs are reviewed from time to time and any variations are effective immediately.

Eligibility

All serving members of the permanent Air Force, Regular Army, Permanent Navy and RAAFAR, adult members of the AIRTC, civilian employees of the Department of Defence and ex-members of the RAAF, Army and Navy are eligible to apply for accommodation and to have members of their family, relatives and friends accompany them.
Please note that families, relatives and friends of entitled members cannot occupy accommodation unless eligible members accompany them.

Confirmation of Bookings

Confirmation of Bookings, subject to vacancies, will be given:
  1. Serving RAAF - 9 months ahead;
  2. All others - 6 months in advance;
  3. Short Stays (less than a week) - 10 days prior to arrival date.
Notes
1. a ballot system operates XMAS December - January for PAF members. The ballot is open 1 Feb through 31 Mar each year.
2. An eligible member may normally only book one unit at a time for a 1 week period during school holidays, and a 2 week period at all other times.
